Chapter 2: The Sorting
Hugo rushed to the front of the queue to be hit by a jinx from Malfoy and fell into the mud. When he got up he grabbed himself a boat by himself. As he was following the rest of the first years, a giant pink tentacle grabbed his boat.Hugo jumped to the other side as the tentacle's owner showed his face,it was a giant squid. He used the only spell he knew.'Flipendo' he tried to hit the tentacle but missed and hit the boat."Oh-" he cursed as he was flung to the other side of the lake. The pink tentacles grabbed him and pulled him back to the boat.As they docked at hogwarts ,Hugo was still clearing slime of his body.
Proffesor Mcgonagall ,headmistress of hogwarts, came and talked to the year ones about what will happen. Hugo was scared of the tall Conductor,he was scared of the kept-back slytherin,he was scared of the small bulky person known as 'Hugrid' as he said himself, he was scared of the Giant Squid lurking in the lake but this is what he dreaded. The mighty sorting. Will he keep up family lines and be in gryffindor, will he disown his family and be in slytherin, will he inherit his mother's IQ and be in Ravenclaw or will he... he couldn't think of hufflepuff as the doors opened and all the first years rushed in a crowd. All the first years were sorted except him curse the person who thought it'd be cool to have Weasley as a surname, curse you. "Weasley,Hugo" Mcgonagall shouted.
"Well the thing is it won't be bad if he doesn't get in Gryfindor as his sister is in ravenclaw." A teacher from the table whispered but not quiet enough.
"Well that's encouraging" Hugo thought to himself. He walked to the hat the eyes stared at him and thought for a while. It
touched his head and sort of absored hugo's life.Hugo lifted it off and put it on the stool.
"You Hugo Robert Weasley are" The sorting hat boomed across the hall "Hereby" Hugo's heart beated quicker "Now" The last words he will say is in ravenclaw or something hugo thought, boy was he wrong "Expelled from hogwarts" Hugo nearley fainted he has only been here a day and now he's gone.
